Pat Pulido Sanchez

As President and CEO of Pulido Sanchez Communications, LLC, Pat oversees a strategic communications firm that specializes in helping companies jumpstart and/or grow their marketshare by providing effective business development strategies.

Prior to the formation of Pulido Sanchez Communications, LLC, Pat was the Vice President of External Affairs for the Chicago Operations of Commonwealth Edison responsible for leading and coordinating all of the company’s external affairs functions, including government affairs, community relations and economic development in the City of Chicago.

Previously, Pat held several positions with the Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc., most recently as senior director of Industry and Government Affairs in charge of local government relations in Anheuser-Busch facility cities and in major metropolitan areas in the Midwest, Southwest and South.

When Pat first joined Anheuser-Busch Companies, she served as the regional manager of Corporate Relations in Chicago, where she opened the company’s first office and managed Hispanic market public relations and government affairs programs in the Midwest and Southwest. She also managed the department’s $3.5 million budget for cause related marketing programs.

Before joining Anheuser-Busch Companies, Pat served as an administrative assistant to the Illinois Attorney General. In this position, she acted as a spokesperson on behalf of the office at civic and professional functions and developed and managed public information and community relations programs.

Because of her professional achievement and civic involvement, Pat became in 1996 one of one hundred women fellows in the Washington, D.C. based Leadership America Program. She serves on the board of the LifeSource, and is also a Trustee of North Central College in Naperville. She also serves on the corporate board of the Metropolitan Bank Group. Pat and her husband, Manny Sanchez, together have four children.




Shaun Wiley

Shaun Wiley is the director of Corporate Communications for Pulido Sanchez Communications, LLC, where is responsible for managing all aspects of the firm’s corporate image including media, community and speaking opportunities. She brings a broad marketing and public relations background, including experience in event planning, media relations, crisis communications and community relations

Prior to joining the firm, Shaun served as communications director for Metro Chicago for the American Heart Association. She directed communications strategy for the market including media relations, media and corporate sponsorship cultivation and activation. Additionally, she developed messaging for use at American Heart Association buzz events and fundraisers. Shaun came to the American Heart Association from SWG&M Advertising where she was public relations specialist with a focus on promoting the agency to external and internal audiences through media relations and internal communications.

Among her media successes are Adweek, Austin American Statesman, Washington Post, Washingtonian, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, Crain’s Chicago Business, Black Enterprise, education trade magazines and the Chicago, Austin and Washington, D.C. television markets.

Before SWG&M, Shaun spent three years at grant jacoby, inc., an integrated marketing firm in Chicago. Among her clients were the Microsoft Education Group, AvalonBay Communities, the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago and Culligan. Shaun began her career as community relations coordinator for a major book retailer, before moving on to a two-year stint with a small marketing communications firm. She holds a B.S. in broadcast journalism from the University of Miami, Florida.




Gary Kubo

With over 35 years of experience in planning and research, Gary Kubo directs the planning and research function for Pulido Sanchez Communications, LLC. Gary has worked with Fortune 100/500 companies and government agencies domestically and internationally, providing brand analysis, research services and insight. A large part of Gary’s background is rooted in advertising; he has held senior positions with Chicago’s leading advertising agencies and among the top brands he has worked on include Sears, Carnival Cruise Lines, Mercedes-Benz, Bell South, Motorola, Coors Brewing Company, Procter & Gamble and Kraft.

Gary served as Senior Vice President, Director of Strategic Planning for Ogilvy & Mather in Chicago. He has held senior positions in major agencies in Chicago including Bozell, Euro RSCG, Young & Rubicam and Foote Cone & Belding (now Draftfcb). Included all aspects of marketing, research (qualitative and quantitative) for consumer, business to business accounts, new product development (both domestic and international), new business development for the agencies.

Gary is highly skilled in the development of branding and strategic marketing plans. The proprietary elements of the programs developed by Gary provide tailored solutions for clients on an ongoing basis.

Gary is a graduate of Illinois State University. He serves on the board of Prevent Child Abuse America and is an advisor to the Chicago White Sox Training Academy. He lives in Lisle, Ill. with his wife and two sons.
